"Our home is in Danaganj village, Varanasi district, UP. My uncle was already associated with Upendra Sir. He suggested to me, 'Amarjeet, learn Oracle DBA.' So he set up a meeting at SHA Career Hub, and here everything was explained to me in detail, what an Oracle database actually is. Once Upendra Sir showed faith in my growth, I got interested, and I developed a real desire within me to learn SQL and Oracle database. So I followed what the mentors told me and worked hard to learn and upskill myself."
Brought in, not walking in
Amarjeet Prajapati did not find SHA Career Hub on his own search. His uncle brought him, certain there was something here worth his nephew's time, before Amarjeet even understood what "Oracle DBA" meant. He came from a village family that makes clay pots and kulhads for a living, had studied through distance education, and spoke neither Hindi nor English with any real fluency, only his local dialect.
Four slow months, then the fifth
The first four months were a struggle. Amarjeet attended every class, but the unfamiliar world of terminology, screens and a language that was not his own kept him a step behind: slow to respond, slow to engage.
Then, in the fifth month, something shifted: troubleshooting. Diagnosing a problem, tracing it, fixing it. Something about that process caught hold of him in a way nothing else had. From there, the people around him say, he grew "faster than a bamboo tree."
Where it went
His career since has been a steady, real climb: a first DBA role at Adecco, then TechOrbit Solutions, then translab.io, and today Oracle Database Administrator at TELUS Digital, working hybrid out of Noida, at a package of ₹22 to 27 LPA.
But Amarjeet did not stop at his own transformation. He went back and brought three more relatives to SHA Career Hub, so the same door his uncle opened for him, he could open for others.
