Why does SHA CareerHub have fewer candidates compared to other EdTech platforms?

Because we don’t follow a mass-enrollment model. SHA CareerHub is a premium career-transition program focused on helping candidates build a career in IT—not simply complete another course. We carefully assess candidates and onboard them only when we believe we can genuinely support their transition and placement journey. What happens if I don't get placed immediately?

Career transitions take time. We believe in patience and consistent effort. If you remain engaged with the program and actively participate in the placement process, we continue supporting you instead of treating the course as finished after a fixed period.

What is Career Re-Engineering Program?

"Career Re-Engineering Program" is a flagship program by SHA CAREER HUB under which based on the candidate's profile we will decide which option is the best and help until placement if the candidate actively engages with us.

What happens after I pay?

Our locking period is 3 weeks so the session will start 3 weeks after you register (see placement page) with us. Then you will attend 4-5 sessions to check each other, and once everything looks good from your end & our side, we will continue. If we are not a fit for each other, you will get your registration amount refunded as per company policy.

What exactly is SHA best known for?

What is your refund policy?

After two rounds of in-depth discussions with a Senior Consultant, you can register by paying ₹10,801. -->You will then attend 4–5 initial sessions as a mutual evaluation period. If either you or SHA Career Hub decides not to proceed during this period, ₹10,801 will be refunded. -->Once both parties agree to continue with the program, the registration fee and other installments are non-refundable.

Will I get access to a live OCI Cloud server for hands-on practice?

Yes. Every student gets access to a live Cloud environment for practical learning and hands-on exercises.

Is this a live OCI environment or just a simulated lab?

It is a live Cloud environment. Students get practical exposure to working with real cloud infrastructure and performing hands-on tasks.

Will I get access to a live Cloud server for hands-on practice?

Do I need to purchase my own Cloud account?

No, live Cloud access is included in your selected training package. We provide the required environment/access for hands-on practice. For additional use, you may need to pay extra.

What if I make a mistake while working on the Cloud server?

Mistakes are part of hands-on cloud learning. The training environment is provided for practice, and the trainer/support team can guide you when you face difficulties.

I have a career gap of several years. Is that a problem?

No. We have successfully placed candidates with multi-year gaps, including parents returning to work. What employers care about is current, demonstrable skill — which is exactly what the live projects and capstone give you. Your mentors will also coach you on how to present the gap confidently in interviews.

Are classes online or in the classroom?

Training is live and instructor-led — not recorded videos. You can attend online from anywhere, and recordings of your own batch sessions are available for revision. Our Kolkata (Salt Lake, Sector V) centre also supports in-person interaction; ask your counsellor about the current batch format.

What are the batch timings?

We run batches designed for both freshers and working professionals, including morning, evening and weekend options. Timings vary by course and intake — your counsellor will share the current schedule for the program you're interested in.

How is SHA Career Hub different from big edtech platforms?

You will not be treated as a fresher, and you will receive partial credit. It totally depends on what background you are coming from.

How many number of students in a batch?

In a batch, max 15. It's ok for us to run a batch with 4-5 students, but never more than 15.

My spoken English is not good. Can I start a career in IT?

Yes. Poor spoken English does not mean you cannot build an IT career. You should work on your communication skills, but you do not need to speak perfect English before starting your IT journey. In IT, you also need to learn how to understand requirements, communicate with your team, explain technical problems, write emails, and participate in meetings. You can improve your English while developing your technical career.

I am afraid to speak English in interviews. What should I do?

This is common among many graduates. Instead of trying to speak complicated English, focus on speaking simple, clear, and understandable English. You should also practice explaining: Your educational background Your skills Your projects What you have learned Why you want to work in IT Technical concepts related to your target role Confidence comes through preparation and practice.

Can I get an IT job without doing a traditional computer science degree?

Yes, it can be possible for certain IT roles. Your degree is one part of your profile. Your technical knowledge, practical skills, projects, problem-solving ability, and interview performance can also matter. The right approach is to identify IT roles where your existing background can be combined with new technical skills.

Is SHA Career Hub only for computer science graduates?

No. SHA Career Hub is designed to help graduates and career transitioners who are trying to understand how they can build a career in IT, including people who may not come from a traditional IT or computer science background. The suitability of a particular IT career depends on the individual's background, capabilities, goals, and readiness to learn.

I'm from a non-IT background (B.A / B.Com / B.Sc). Can I really get an IT job?

Yes — this is exactly who SHA Career Hub was built for. A large share of our placed alumni came from non-IT degrees. Every program starts from fundamentals, and the Foundation Program exists specifically to bring non-IT graduates up to speed before specialisation. Your degree gets you eligibility; the 7 months of hands-on training gets you the job.

I'm currently working. Can I manage the course alongside my job?

Yes — many of our students are working professionals. Live sessions are scheduled to suit working hours, session recordings are available for revision, and mentors help you pace lab work through the week. Expect to invest consistent weekly effort; the 7-month structure is designed to be sustainable alongside a job.

I am class 12 pass, Can I able to get help to start career in IT?

If you have completed only Class 12, we recommend completing a Bachelor’s degree in any stream before pursuing a core IT career or approaching us for career support. Most IT companies, particularly MNCs, require graduation as a minimum eligibility criterion for many entry-level IT roles.

Can I start IT Career even If my Degree Isn't in IT?

Do I need coding experience or a powerful laptop?

A normal laptop with stable internet is enough, because labs run in the cloud. Most programs we have need no coding background. Programs that involve programming, such as Generative & Agentic AI require basic Python, and your counsellor will confirm whether you need a bridge module first.

Will I get certificates? Do you prepare me for certification exams?

You receive a course completion certificate from SHA Career Hub, and the cloud programs are aligned to the official certification tracks (such as AWS, Microsoft AZ-104 and OCI certifications). Certification exam preparation is part of the training, and mentors guide you on when and which exam to attempt. Our Kolkata centre is a Pearson VUE Authorised Test Centre, so you can sit AWS and Microsoft certification exams at the institute itself.

Which course should I choose?

It depends on your background and interests. Broadly: Database Architect or PostgreSQL DBA if you want a deep, evergreen database specialisation (Oracle or open-source); AWS or Azure for the largest volume of cloud jobs; OCI for a differentiated, lower-competition path; Multi Cloud for maximum flexibility; the Career Re-Engineering Program if you are already an IT professional and want cloud architecture, DevOps and Generative AI together; Data Science with Python if you prefer analysis over infrastructure. What is the course fee? Are installments available?

There are two ways to join. Option 1, the Training + Placement Program, is the one most students choose: live sessions and hands-on practice with industry experts, dedicated doubt clearing, a CV built to industry standards, profile marketing, mock interviews with recruiters, and interview scheduling with support until you are placed, as long as you stay engaged with the program. Option 2, Self-Paced Training, gives you the recorded sessions, labs, projects, course materials and a completion certificate to learn on your own schedule. What salary can I expect after the course?

It varies with your background, city and interview performance. As a general market picture, entry-level cloud and database roles in India typically start around ₹5–6 LPA, with strong performers and certified candidates going higher — some of our alumni have started at 36 LPA and above. Mentors will help you target roles realistically and negotiate well.

Do I get IT jobs for sure i.e. 100% ?

Honestly, no — and we believe you deserve to hear that clearly. No genuine IT training and career-support organization, including SHA Career HUB, can honestly guarantee a 100% job placement simply because someone completes a program. Why? Because getting a job is a shared responsibility. SHA can provide the right training, guidance, preparation, opportunities, and continuous support — but we cannot attend interviews, demonstrate your skills, make career decisions, or perform on your behalf.
